3d Studio Max 9 in Windows Vista
That’s it. Now you’re set. I haven’t found any patches or updates that would make it compatible and not go through these steps. I only tried this on Max 9 so I do not know about other versions, but you can give it a try.

Hey. I am sorry to hear this. I think the main problem was the video card or lack in performance of your computer. 3DS Max is not that forgiving. Another cause could be : VISTA. Not everyone is fond of it.
So did you have to reformat the computer?
That was so easy, been farting around for two days trying to get max to work, no joy either from Autodesk. Max working fine now! Many thanks

JS, I am really sorry but no warez related information such as cracks and serial codes are allowed on this blog.
It doesn’t work on my PC. I’ve done all the things you mentioned here. But it doesn’t work at all, how I’ve not been trying for half-an-hour! Could you tell me the other way to load 3ds max 9 on Windows Vista Business?

Or you can just download the Max 9 service pack makes it fully Vista compatible.
